The Software Tester II will contribute to projects that have a real-world impact, improving the healthcare and pharmacy industry.
Job Summary: The Software Tester II collaborates with ScriptPro’s agile cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing projects in the Azure portal environment. Assist in evaluating, reproducing, and investigating software issues in coordination with the agile team and release groups. This key role is responsible to test and identify problems of a diverse and broad scope. The role interacts with senior personnel and participates in project development from initiation through delivery, including site support. Testers are integral to enhancing software design and ensuring stability.

Reporting Relationship: Manager, Testing
Shift: Generally, Monday through Friday from 8am – 5pm CST. This role is a hybrid position; mix of in office and remote work. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.
Scope of the Role:
- Understand complex problems and test case creation in the Azure portal environment to test the customer user experience
- Test proposed changes to hardware, software, and procedures, both in-house and production sites
- Interpret symptoms, troubleshoot problems, and document possible solutions
- Strong understanding of how the product works and how it is used by our clients
- Diagnose, track, and manage the resolution of quality issues through to resolution change request and build testing for main and beta software builds
- Participate in production build and product support for beta sites
- Document and report test outcomes by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing data
- Assist in reproducing, investigating, and debugging software issues in coordination with the team
Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree in computer science or related field or equivalent related experience is preferred
- Experience writing SQL queries and with SQL databases
- Experience writing Test Plans and Test Cases in Azure Dev Ops
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn new technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines, and report status
Preferred Skills:
- Azure Dev Ops experience – including build and release Pipelines
- Experience with JSON
- Experience with XML
- Experience with PowerShell
Remote Work Requirements:
- Must have high-speed reliable internet access with a hard-wired connection
- Must have a distraction free home office workspace
- Must be willing to participate in video virtual meetings (camera on)
