The roles within ScriptPro’s Field Operations department involve direct interaction with customers, which provides a unique opportunity to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. These teams are involved with the implementation and maintenance of our customer’s environment and infrastructure. This is a technical and collaborative role with the ability to make an impact on pharmacy systems.
Job Summary: This position will be responsible for supporting implementation projects for ScriptPro’s emerging products and software features, including pilots for new development. In addition to project management tasks, this role will collaborate with Release Management, Sales, Customer Service, and other leaders in System Implementation to verify all release tasks are completed, including but not limited to implementation procedures, product specifications, customer requirements, project management responsibilities, and formal transition to ScriptPro’s support teams. This person will serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams throughout the implementation life cycle to collect and relay feedback to improve ScriptPro’s products and implementation processes.
Reporting Relationship: Senior Manager, Project Management
Shift: Generally, Monday to Friday 8 to 5 pm CST; on-call during project which may include evenings or weekends. This role is on a hybrid work schedule; mix of remote and in office. There is an expectation to travel 20-30% of the time. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.
Scope of the Role:
- Attend applicable internal meetings to discuss new development and pilot implementations, including Stakeholder Reviews, Release Planning, and SPR Meetings
- Provide roll-up reporting and project prioritization to System Implementation (SI) and Field Operations Product Development (FOPD) Leadership
- Develop and organize implementation procedures with a focus on efficiency, expediency, customer messaging, mass SR entry and/or order release, and multi-configuration deployments
- Identify issues/gaps and alert SI, FOPD, and Engineering of impediments and challenges to shore up products prior to General Release
- Coordinate with Sales, FOPD, and SI to quickly organize and deploy pilot releases and emerging product implementations
- Serve as the point person in SI to organize, prioritize, and launch a new pilot or rollout, as well as provide frequent status updates
- Work with customers to gather, manage, and prioritize requirements
- Prepare customer specification documents, interface documents, business rules, data mapping, and other documentation as necessary for development teams
- Proactively resolve conflicts, handle ambiguity, and facilitate groups to achieve objectives
- Maintain knowledge of company products and services in order to complete successful implementations and deployments
- Manage multiple customer accounts throughout implementation
- Travel to meet with new customers, gather site-specific information, and occasionally support post-implementation
- Assist with development of SI training documentation
- Mentor team members and assist in overseeing emerging product projects and pilot deployments managed by other Project Managers
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, Project Management certificate, related field experience, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Experience with software application installations, client/server relationships, networking, and database structure/management
- Ability to evaluate and effectively prioritize competing demands of varying scope/complexity
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office program suite [e.g. Excel, Word, Project, Visio]
- Exceptional customer service and dedication to represent ScriptPro in a professional manner in all situations
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional analytical skills; ability to assess risks/obstacles and provide positive alternative solutions as necessary
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate among project stakeholders appropriately and in a timely manner
- Strong negotiation skills; ability to effectively navigate constraints and balance customer and company objectives
- Success in this position relies heavily on email and phone communication and is therefore usually fast-paced and requires attention to timeliness, audience, and professional courtesy
- Business-casual attire, at a minimum, is required while in the office and when meeting with customers; personal hygiene and appearance must be well-maintained

- Must have a distraction free home office workspace
- Must be willing to participate in video virtual meetings (camera on)

This position operates in an office environment. Routine use of standard office equipment is required. Must be able to use a computer for extended periods of time. Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, and expected to occasionally lift, stoop, bend, and reach. Ability to learn and solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions is required.
