The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!
Technical Product Managers bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, overseeing the development of products from conception to launch. They work closely with engineering teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure that technical solutions align with the company’s strategic goals. Technical Product Managers also collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into technical specifications, ensuring product quality and timely delivery.
This is internship is a hybrid opportunity based in Holtsville, NY and will be working onsite a minimum of 3 days a week. Zebra does not offer relocation or housing budget.

Responsibilities:
As a Summer Intern in the Technical Product Management team, you will be responsible for the following -
- Evaluate and manage external vendors or partners that provide Wi-Fi/ Bluetooth connectivity solutions such as network infrastructure and service providers.
- Evaluation of existing Wi-Fi/ Bluetooth feature set in order to identify opportunities for product cost optimization and feature deprecation.
- Collect feedback from customers and users about Wi-Fi/ Bluetooth connectivity issues to inform future product updates and enhancements.
- Market and customer assessment on Wi-Fi7 and Bluetooth connectivity solutions use cases and capabilities for new product features.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: The ability to gather, analyze, and act on data such as user behavior, connectivity performance, network issues for making informed product decisions.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Experience managing the full lifecycle of a product—from concept and development to launch and post-launch optimization.
- This includes working with engineering teams, defining product requirements, and handling backlogs.
- Experience with System Architecture: Candidates should understand how connectivity solutions are architected, including the hardware, software, and cloud components involved.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or graduate degree program in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science or MBA.
- Must have an anticipated graduation date between May 2025-December 2026 for undergraduate degree programs and 2025 to 2026 for graduate degree programs/ MBA programs
- Prior internship experience in Product Lifecycle management for products involving hardware, software and cloud components is highly desired.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be able to work in the Holtsville, NY office a minimum of three days a week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical Understanding of wireless technology including WiFi/ Bluetooth technology and knowledge of system design, integrations, and how products fit within a broader ecosystem or platform.
- Ability to work with diverse teams such as engineering, design, sales, marketing, and operations is essential.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills

Salary: USD 28.50 - USD 38.00 Hourly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
