The roles within ScriptPro’s Field Operations department involve direct interaction with customers, which provides an unique opportunity to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. These teams are involved with the implementation and maintenance of our customer’s environment and infrastructure. This is a technical and collaborative role with the ability to make an impact on pharmacy systems.
Job Summary: The Network Engineer is responsible for planning and coordinating the integration of ScriptPro products and services within our customer’s network infrastructure. This integration will be accomplished by working closely with ScriptPro’s Project Management Team and our Customer’s Technical Resources. The Network Engineer will serve as a network subject matter expert for these projects. Network testing and verification will be completed before handing the project off to internal ScriptPro teams for installation completion and ongoing support.
Reporting Relationship: Manager, Implementation Engineering Services
Shift: Generally, Monday to Friday from 8 to 5 pm CST. This is a hybrid schedule; mix of in office and remote work. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.
Scope of the Role:
- Collaborate with customers on network design for new implementations, upgrades, or migrations
- Implement, test and support network and VPN connections for new implementations, upgrades, and migrations
- Create technical documentation for implementation and ongoing support of installed products
- Support internal and customer resources during product implementation
- Work with ScriptPro design and support teams to evaluate and test new network hardware and firmware, when applicable
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a business technology or computer science discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of networking background combined with strong security experience
- Expert level of knowledge using industry best practices for installing, deploying, documenting, and troubleshooting network security technologies, including vulnerability assessments, firewalls, etc.
- Computer proficiency in MS Windows Operating Systems
- Productive, organized, and able to complete work within a scheduled time frame
- Detail oriented with the ability to adapt to change
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task various projects in different stages of development
- Independent, self-motivated worker
- Able to work in a team atmosphere
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ScriptPro’s product line
- Experience working with Information Technology professionals from outside organizations
- Cisco Certified Network Associate
- Cisco Certified Network Professional
- Experience with Cisco Defense Orchestrator and Cloud-delivered Firewall Management Center
Remote Work Requirements:
- Must have high-speed reliable internet access with a hard-wired connection
- Must have a distraction free home office workspace
- Must be willing to participate in video virtual meetings (camera on)

This position operates in an office environment. Routine use of standard office equipment is required. Must be able to use a computer for extended periods of time. Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, and expected to occasionally lift, stoop, bend, and reach. Ability to learn and solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions is required.
