This
Engineering Project Manager will join the new construction team within the
Global High Tech space. A successful candidate would manages multiple customer engineering projects across countries and industrial divisions alone or through the team. Apply engineering skill to solve complex problems utilizing knowledge of Ecolab’s customers and markets. Schedule and coordinate major segments of complex projects to meet cost and time objectives. Review design and documentation to ensure compliance with design criteria and standards. Conduct feasibility studies, determine team needed and cost estimates, and develop engineering criteria. Innovative applications and extension of existing or new products, processes, systems or methods having major importance to the business. Drive project planning and demonstrate knowledge of project management tools and techniques on cross-functional teams.
What You Will Do
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical, electrical and software engineering) in development of dispensing equipment and control solutions
- Collaborate with divisional project leaders, divisional stakeholders and support functions to define clear product requirements
- Collaborate with internal innovation teams to identify appropriate technology options to meet the product requirements
- Define and manage budget, resource, unit cost and timing estimates to complete each project
- Apply project management tools to effectively lead multiple workstreams in achieving performance, cost and timeline objectives
- Communicate progress, risks, mitigation plans, and next steps to divisional customers
- Maintain a platform perspective to enable design leverage across divisions and applications, including thinking
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of project management, construction, and engineering experience within a customer facing environment.
- Experience in application and use of common project management tools
- No Immigration Sponsorship available
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in project management from concept to commercialization
- Ability to project manage multiple construction projects.
- Ability to support generating technical submittals and revise as needed
- Ability to support new construction bids
- Takeoff, drawings and specs review
- Supporting sales people with equipment and technical information
- General knowledge and experience with building and skid prefabrication processes
- Basic mechanical, electrical, structural, BMS understanding
