Primary Function
The primary responsibility of the Front-End Developer includes designing, developing, testing, and deploying UI of new and existing web application for both internal and external clients. In addition, the Front-End Web Developer is expected to collaborate effectively with other software engineers, quality assurance, project management, patient care and operations to deliver high quality software with speed in a fast-paced environment.
Job Scope And Major Responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features
- Identifying and implementing the best UX/UI practices for a wide range of website types
- Developing complex websites, loading product feeds and integrating them with our proprietary eCommerce platform and Content Management System
- Optimizing websites for desktop, tablet and mobile devices
- Animating HTML using CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript plugins
- Optimizing images and videos to ensure proper quality and file
- Managing and prioritizing projects and timelines Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
- Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Adhere at all times to physical, administrative and technical safeguards related to core business when executing job functions.
- Compliance with the provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and its implementing regulations, as amended (“HIPAA”)
Performance Criteria
This role is evaluated by the accuracy and effectiveness of relevant reporting as well as timely communication with customers and internal teams. Achieving performance targets for individual programs is critical for assessing this role’s performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Skilled at communicating and collaborating with other members of development teams.
- 5+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Photoshop
- 3+ years of experience in Bootstrap, JQuery, JQueryUI, Greensock
- Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, and SQL Server is a plus
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, HIPPA/HITRUST and security is a plus.
- This role is on-site in our Florham Park, NJ location.
