Description:
Oversee the day-to-day administrative supervision of the assigned facilities for the Corporate Security department Supervises the protection for the assets of the Company (people, facilities, product, and information). Responds too and coordinates incidents and emergencies and provides updates to management. Prepares and maintains all required security manuals and procedures. Analyzes loss controls, incidents and accident reports. Oversees the contract personnel to ensure compliance to the contract and provides training on Amneal procedures and systems.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee the contract guard force and maintain key performance indicators to monitor the contractor's performance. Work with the contractor on the selection of personnel, adherence to training standards and guard recognition awards. Train and randomly test the staff to ensure they know the policies and procedures and are prepared to perform their responsibilities. Periodically participate in contract bidding and stay current with industry standards.
- Ensuring all security systems and related equipment are functioning properly and according to specification. Perform regularly scheduled audits and system tests.
- Enforce and periodically review policies, procedures, and post orders to ensure they are adhered to and current.
- Monitor and analyze incident reports, threat risk ratings and industry information to understand the potential for evolving threats and identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Maintain accurate records to ensure that all incidents and emergencies are properly documented and filed in compliance with the Company's records retention policy.
- Perform security related incident investigations and support HR or Operational video reviews.
- Promote a culture of customer service, while maintaining and enhancing all security controls. Work to develop cooperative relationships with each business unit to assist in reaching the Company's goals and objectives.
- Respond to all incidents and emergencies, coordinate on-scene response and provide the Crisis Managment team with periodic updates and information.
- Assist the Sr. Security Manager or Director, DEA Compliance & Corporate Security in the protection of the Company's assets and the development and implemention of all policies and procedures.
- Assist the Sr. Security Manager or Director, DEA Compliance & Corporate Security in maintaining the budget for OPEX & CAPEX spends during the year.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Regulatory, Compliance, Law Enforcement, IT or Military equivalent - Required
Experience:
- 2 years or more in BA/BS Degree: Law Enforcement, Security, IT, or Military equivalent.
Skills:
- Competent in required job skills and knowledge. Exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills. Keeps abreast of current developments. Requires minimal supervision. Displays understanding of how the job relates to others. Uses resources effectively. MS Office. - Intermediate
- Must possess excellent command of both verbal and written English and exhibit excellent customer service skills - Intermediate
- Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, regulatory agencies and the general public. - Intermediate
- Good analytical and data interpretation skills. Is able to synthesize complex and diverse information, recognizing trends. Assimilates information, analyzes and reaches sound conclusions. Able to identify problems and opportunities and proactively present solutions through detailed analysis of information and data. - Intermediate
- Able to bring together and organize data from different sources on context, using deductive reasoning from the simplest elements of thought to a more complex whole, from cause to effect, from principle to application. - Intermediate
- Must have strong knowledge of computer hardware and software. Possess the ability to install, troubleshoot, and program new and existing hardware or software. - Intermediate
- Maintains a strong sense of knowledge among the technical security environment including systems pertaining to CCTV, access control, burglar alarm systems, etc. - Intermediate
- Demonstrates high level of guard force management and physical security best practices. - Intermediate
Specialized Knowledge:
- Must possess active listening skills.
- Most possess strong knowledge of video management systems, access control systems, and burglar alarm systems.
- Ability to work with various operating systems and specialized software pertaining to security system equipment.
- Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively.
- Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
- Must have operator level proficiency with enterprise access control, video and alarm systems.
- Must be able to maintain an active budget and bring projects in on time.
The salary for this position ranges from $65,000 - $80,000. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
