Who are we looking for?
The Paralegal is an integral part of the dynamic and fast-paced legal team, supporting the inbound as well as outbound contract processes.
Utilizing exceptional organizational and time-management skills, you will draft, review, and negotiate contracts that align with business objectives and effectively manage risk throughout the organization. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with a relentless focus on quality and execution will be essential in this role.
You bring a business minded approach to legal issues, a strong drive to cultivate robust business relationships, and the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment. You have a creative approach to problem-solving. You understand technology and the components used by SaaS vendors to provide services to their customers, as well as industry practices for procurement contracts. You are organized, have a service-oriented mindset, a passion for business growth, and interest in leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency.
You may be hired as a Paralegal, or Sr. Paralegal based on your depth of skill and breadth of experience.
What will you do?
- Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of inbound and outbound vendor/customer contract documents, including software, SaaS, technology, services, marketing, and facilities contracts with a broad range of vendors
- Draft and negotiate NDAs to safeguard the company's confidential information during negotiations with external parties
- Support the implementation and administration of our contract management software, including data entry, document tracking, and reporting
- Responsible for day-to-day vendor contracting along with support for customer contracts.
- May perform other assignments and support projects as assigned
This is an onsite position at our office in San Diego, CA.
What education and experience do you need?
A combination of the following education and experience factors will be considered:
- Advanced education in a business-related field
- Active paralegal certification
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in vendor contract matters, to include software, SaaS, technology, and services contracts, preferably in a healthcare IT environment
- Demonstrated understanding of contract law and principles and good drafting skills
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite

What does the position pay:
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
The expected range for this role is $85,000-110,000 annual compensation. Please note this range is an estimate and actual may vary based on qualifications and experience.
