Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Director, Talent Acquisition manages the recruitment and selection function for the North America Region (US & Canada). Povides strategic direction and leadership in the areas of candidate sourcing, supplier management and allocation of resources. Promotes and strengthens B. Braun’s reputation as the employer of choice in the employment market.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the Talent Acquisition function including a team of professional recruiters to deliver diverse candidate pipelines for various roles such as executives, professionals, and individual contributors in a variety of roles across our diverse business portfolio.
- Develops and maintains relationships with external partners including recruiters and employment agencies, trade professional organizations to ensure a continuous pipeline of talent.
- Establishes best practice standards for North America and collaborates closely with global partners to create and support consistency around the globe.
- Leads a diverse team of recruiters driving our Talent Acquisition strategy.
- Establishes standards for reference or background checks.
- Partners with leaders and HRBP to create workforce plans supporting the overall needs of the business.
- Creates branding strategies with internal partners to best position B. Braun as an employer of choice.
- Develops, tracks, and evaluates metrics to measure effectiveness and efficiency of recruitment efforts.
- Develops and manages the Talent Acquisition budget.
- Ensures adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations governing the employment process.
- Leads a diverse team of recruiters driving our Talent Acquisition strategy.
- Ensures candidate and hiring manager have a positive experience.

Qualifications
Education and Professional Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
- 10 years HR experience, 5 years of Talent Acquisition experience and 5 years management experience.
Certification:

Requires breadth of professional field and industry knowledge. Ability to integrate critical information and champion advanced strategies/concepts through the organization. Drives development of advanced technologies, principles and processes.
Supervision Given and Received:
Manages entry to intermediate level employees of a department or a function with 1 or 2 sections. Ensures budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met.
Problem Solving:
Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.
Contacts/Cooperation:
Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.
