The Associate Project Manager has the primary responsibility of managing the scope, schedule and budget of all projects assigned, while demonstrating a working knowledge of all Translogic (Transport Automation) products. This individual will work with customers to clearly understand their goals and to guide them to a successful implementation of Swisslog Healthcare's solutions.

The Associate Project Manager is responsible for the management of multiple concurrent customer projects. Each Associate PM will manage a variable number of projects that will be dependent on current workload in relation to other members of the team.
Projects are successfully implemented through skillful proposal/contract/spec review, contract drawing review, site surveys, system design, materials procurement and scheduling, installation drawing design and review, installation scheduling, labor coordination, communication and customer relation skills, cost management, change order processing, project completion and close out.
Additional accountabilities required of a Swisslog Healthcare Associate Project Manager:
- Independently oversee the project plan events and manage the schedule.
- Serve as a primary contact for any issues that arise related to implementation.
- Manage procurement of project related equipment and materials.
- Ensures that all issues are documented and resolutions reached.
- Manage both physical pneumatic tube system installation work as well as service upgrade projects on existing systems.
- Manage a large volume of small project typically lasting 3-4 months in length, with average sell prices of $60k-100k.
- Manage the project budget, revenue projections, risks, and scope.
- Responsible for preparing and completing the customer acceptance process.
- Expected to execute basic PM skills and techniques. Some of those include:
- Note taking
- Documentation
- Project forecasting
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as required to support the delivery of best-in-the-business customer support.
Your competence
- Basic knowledge of the construction or service industry, with potential aptitude for three-dimensional visualization and systems design in buildings.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred. A combination of qualifications, certifications, and/or extensive related work experience can replace the degree requirement.
- Process- and detail-oriented professional, with proven organizational and time management skills.
- Passionate about providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external resources.
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt and change with company needs.
Desirable, but not Essential:
- PMP or other project management certification, or relevant documented experience.
- Exposure to contracts, design and construction or service-related management in a semi-unsupervised capacity.
Compensation: Salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skillset. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical / dental / vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, disability, 401k matching (up to 8%).
