SUMMARY : Responsible for moving and processing received waste through established practices. Cares for the cleanliness and orderliness of the floor area and the general plant. Practices Safety procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other functions may be assigned.
- Coordinate loading and unloading of carts
- Maintain unloading area for cleanliness
- QC carts for damages, lack of lids, handles, overall cleanliness
- Cycle carts through tippers and cart washer.
- Unloads box waste from trailers and placing boxes on conveyor.
- Monitors number of boxes unloaded and record on appropriate documentation.
- Operates box waste scale station as required.
- Monitors and records scale weights for billing purposes.
- Performs general plant clean up duties (clean up spilled waste or materials)
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Flexibility to work days, nights, overtime and weekends as required
- Ability to work as a team member, quickly, safely, and responsibly
- Must have the ability to lift loads of 50 - 75 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull loads upwards of 200 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must have reliable transportation.
