Overview
Maxor National Pharmacy Services has an EXCITING, opening for an experienced, PRN (per diem) Pharmacy Technician floater, who is a customer focused and flexible. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to work within Maxor National Pharmacy Services network of managed clinic-based pharmacies in the greater NYC area. This PRN position offers a highly competitive hourly rate of pay, and the opportinity to experience and learn from clinic based healthcare providers in an integrative and collaborative approach.
Must also be available to cover shifts at the Outpatient Hospital Pharmacy in St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take prescription orders
- Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
- Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
- Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
- Answer the phone
- Input customer information into the computer system
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Flexible to cover shifts between 8am-9pm
- Current PTCB Certification, or ability to obtain your certification within 6 months (Assistance available)
- 2+ years retail pharmacy experience; experience in HIV/AIDS clinical setting is a plus
- Computer experience mandatory
- Proven track record of exemplary customer service
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish speaking skills a plus
- Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
