Clean Harbors is searching for a reliable and safety oriented
I&E Technician with an excellent mechanical aptitude to join our
Kingsland, GA team! The
Electrical and Instrumentation Technician will be responsible forperforming hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC Logic programming, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.

Responsibilities
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
- Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions
- Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations
- Maintains accurate records and logs as required
- Installs new system controls (including power wiring)
- Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers
- Services and replaces motors and lighting
- Performs general electrical maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What does it take to work for Synergy, a Clean Harbors?
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- 4+ years combined of plant experience and related education preferred
- Instrument and/or electrical training, degree, or certification preferred
- Journeyman Electrician License is a plus
- Proficiency in blueprint reading of electronic schematics
- Proficiency in process and instrumentation diagrams (PID)
- Mechanically inclined a plus!
- Team player with a servant leader mentality
