The Technology Project Management Office is seeking an intern for the 10-week Summer 2025 Internship Program at Live Oak Bank.
Position Overview
The Technology Portfolio Management Office drives the successful delivery of new technology and business process efficiency in support of our enterprise strategy and ongoing customer needs. As a Project Management Intern, you will play a role in supporting the delivery of our products. You will work with product teams, and engineering squads to deliver in excellence. Your communication and collaboration skills will be instrumental in helping your team be successful. Your passion for technology, and an understanding of agile methodologies, will be keys to your success in this role.
How You’ll Do It
- Domain Knowledge: Use your Project Management and Agile knowledge to enable the Technology organization to delivery on its goals.
- Project Management: Coordinate people, processes, and technology to deliver projects in line with business goals.
- Agile Delivery: Coordinate people, processes, and technology to deliver technology increments with continuous customer feedback loops.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the improvement and optimization of processes affecting multiple teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
- Problem Solving: Identify, explore, and resolve problems autonomously and creatively.
- Communication & Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate effectively with members of your project teams.
- Relationships: Build and nurture working relationships with others and leverage those relationships to achieve greater outcomes.
- Center of Excellence: Define structure, develop and curate content, and educate individuals on project management and agile best practices.
Required And Preferred Experience
- Currently enrolled in a degree program such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Project Management, or similar field
- Ability to work with a team of diverse individuals with varying skill and experience levels
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles
- Knowledge of agile / scrum methodologies
- Passion for technology and continuous learning

The base pay range for this position is $19.23 - $31.25 per hour. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy. A candidate’s salary is determined by several factors including travel, relevant work experience or skills and expertise.
