The Print Designer will play a key role in building and maintaining print creative for in-store signage at a key retail partner. The applicant should have a solid understanding of print design and advertising. Must be able to communicate design vision and deliver strong visual recommendations supported by strategic rationale. Applicants must have experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
The candidate will ensure that industry-leading print ads and comps are completed on time and within scope. They must have great interpersonal skills, be able to handle a fast-paced environment, oversee multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize effectively. This is a unique opportunity to work with a team of designers, clients, sales planners, and sales reps.
Design Responsibilities Include:
Ideate and collaborate with Creative, Sales, Client Services, Clients and Printers for production activation
Design in-store signage collateral (basket liners, hand wipe stands, cooler clings, etc) to meet retailer brand standards across all creative tactics
Execute prepress and production for both client-supplied files and build-from-scratch collateral, including press-ready file preparation, reformatting, retouching, final proofing, and more
Optimize imagery as needed for in-store collateral
Assemble Google / PowerPoint slides
Ideation collaboration with Creative, Account Management, Planning, Marketing and Sales teams for campaign assets
Work in a client-facing capacity; participate in necessary client calls and facilitate creative conversation with clients alongside Account Management and Sales
Management Responsibilities Include:
Project platform queue monitoring and management (receive, manage)
Asset review and management
Oversee the creation of print creative for all tactics
Assist other designers and producers with projects
Ideate and collaborate with creative, marketing, and sales teams for proactive pitches and RFP

Required Qualifications:
Strong knowledge and practice in prepress and production
Expertise with print creative specifications from dielines to overprinting, printing color profiles, standards for print resolution assets and more
Analytical understanding of print specifications
Knowledge of print advertising methods and principles
Knowledge of scalable design principles
Multi-tasking capabilities
Strong organization and presentation abilities
Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
2-3 years of experience in print and graphic design
