Who We Are
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Clinical Products & Operations, the Senior Manager, Clinical Quality & Support is responsible for leading and overseeing the strategic direction, operations, and performance of the Clinical Quality & Clinical Support teams within Ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring IDTFs. This position is also responsible for providing cardiology and electrophysiology expertise as a liaison to both external customers, such as physicians and allied health professionals, along with internal teams including but not limited to: Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and R&D.

The right candidate for this role will lead and motivate their teams of professionals across existing and future IDTFs, including directing and delegating the managers of each team. They will create a positive and productive work environment committed to the highest clinical quality in the cardiac monitoring industry along with providing expert external and internal customer-facing support. They will educate and present to physicians and other allied health professionals the value of our IDTF services and products, including the Bardy CAM report and future products in cardiac monitoring. This position will be the liaison and primary clinical support personnel for cross-functional internal teams. Additionally, this role will also define and communicate the vision and objectives for the Clinical Quality and Clinical Support teams, along with developing the strategies and plans to achieve them. The right candidate will drive change and innovation within their departments, adapting to the needs and demands of current and future products by identifying and implementing improvements to increase quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of clinical quality and support processes.
Occasional travel to IDTF sites, Industry Conferences, and meetings with strategic accounts is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee day-to-day responsibilities of the Clinical Quality and Clinical Support teams across multiple IDTF sites, delegating to the management of these teams as needed.
- Develop, mentor, and coach the managers of the Clinical Quality and Clinical Support teams.
- Ensure consistency in the quality of the Bardy CAM report and future clinical products within Cardiac Monitoring.
- Investigate any IDTF-related issues or internal and external complaints regarding report quality or report issues.
- Monitor report amendments, MDNs (MD Notifications), and STAT requests to ensure they’re handled in a timely manner.
- Monitor trends from customer accounts and provide feedback when necessary to Sales Leadership about solutions and/or opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate any special report requests from Sales/Marketing to IDTF Leadership.
- Foster and maintain relationships with internal cross-functional team members, such as Account Executives, Regional Sales Managers, Customer Experience Representatives, Marketing Product Managers, and Medical Affairs team members.
- Conduct needs analysis by meeting with Clinical Operations Leadership to identify gaps and implement effective solutions that build on QC Review Technician competencies, MD Notification Technician, and Clinical Support Technician competencies.
- Own the overall communication protocol and execution of communication to external-facing customers specific to critical ECG rhythms, report features, and other IDTF processes.
- Support and collaborate with the Marketing Team for digital health content, collateral creation, case study support, and other customer-facing materials.
- Support Sales Management in presenting cardiac monitoring products to potential new or existing customer facilities.
- Support Sales & Marketing teams at professional conferences as needed.
- Formally present CAM and other product best practices and report features to the physicians during local or remote training.
- Establish and analyze metrics that measure the performance and success of the Clinical Quality & Clinical Support teams.
- Remain current in knowledge on training practices, training methods, learning tools, etc.
- Participate in leadership meetings, training events, seminars, and conferences as needed.
- Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations for Clinical Operations.
- Review performance goals and objectives with Clinical Quality & Clinical Support leaders, providing feedback and recognition, and resolving conflicts and disputes.
- Anticipate and respond to emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities, ensuring relevance in our industry.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- CRAT or CCT certification, or able to attain within first 6 months of start datE
- High School diploma or GED or equivalent required
- 3+ years of ECG interpretation experience with in-depth arrhythmia knowledge as an ECG Technician or other comparable role
- 2+ years of direct-people management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent technical skills, highly proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- Excellent attention-to-detail

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, but equivalent work experience is also acceptable
- Previous experience within BDxSolutions Clinical Operations
- Previous cardiac monitoring leadership experience
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a salary range of $120,000.00 to $180,000.00. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
