The Director, Data Governance will establish and deploy an enterprise data governance strategy and framework, in partnership with business functions and technology. They will foster value creation through data transparency, by enhancing data quality and establishing trust in data across data domains. They will build, deliver and refine analytics that lead to data-driven decisions and serve as a key influencer and champion for the use and management of information and analytics to drive and measure company performance and actionable insights for use in daily and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, refine, and execute a Data Governance (DG) framework to drive ongoing adoption of DG capabilities and prioritization of DG activities with the support and buy-in from business unit leadership.
- Define, manage, and advance enterprise information management principles, policies and programs for stewardship, advocacy, and ownership of data and analytics (e.g. Data Governance Forum, Domain Working Groups), in concert with legal, information security, and corporate risk and compliance offices.
- Work proactively across data and functional domain teams to identify data sources and owners, stewards, data users, and data processes.
- Drive the Governance operating model to work with the business to develop plans to identify, prioritize and resolve issues.
- Lead a team of data governance professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to achieve a unified data governance program.
- Collaborate with all OCIO team to integrate data governance capabilities into technology infrastructure, enterprise applications, data pipelines and analytics.
- Supporting Master Data Management Initiative & collaborating with business data owners, application SMEs and Architecture Team to ensure data accuracy by defining data standards and governance policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- 10+ years of professional experience in information technology with a focus on data.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Data Governance, Data Privacy, or a related field.
- Experience leading teams through direct and indirect authority.
- Experience developing a Data Governance framework, operating model, implementation approach, roadmap, and best practices.
- Ability to collaborate and influence at an executive leadership level.

At PointClickCare, base salary is one of the many components that make up our total rewards package. The US base salary range for this position is $171,000 - $190,000 + bonus or commission + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location.
