The Corporate Security, Advisor maintains a safe and secure environment for employees by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures. This position will be responsible for monitoring and guaranteeing a sound, ethical environment, and the ability to identify, investigate or resolve security breaches.
Will work at our headquarters in Lincolnshire, IL on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Zebra security and asset protection programs and socially promote these programs as part of the overall business culture
- Proactively oversee programs that relate to the organization's duty of care towards its employees locally, regionally and while traveling
- Conduct on-site risk analysis and security assessments to identify and evaluate potential security risks to Zebra
- Conduct internal investigations into asset loss, thefts, acts of criminal misconduct, and violations of policy; and act as a point of contact with local and national law enforcement agencies in matters of security and asset protection
- Oversee site and regional contract guard security personnel
- Manage our 24X7 global security command center located in Lincolnshire.
- Maintain an awareness of the global security environment everywhere Zebra does business.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field such as Industrial Security, Criminal Justice or similar.
- 8+ years of security management experience in a corporate environment.
- Crisis Management/Ability to respond to potential security threats appropriate.
- Must have the appropriate character and discretion to maintain confidentiality in all areas of the business, both personal and professional.
- Experience with incident management platforms, travel tracking and emergency mass notification communication tools.
- Experience working for/with security integrators, and/or security guarding partners.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel regionally as needed.
- Experience with enterprise-grade physical security systems including access control and video surveillance management.
- Experience managing projects and overseeing budgets.
- Must be reachable off hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must have the ability to effectively and efficiently work and communicate with all team members
- Understanding of network interfaces and communications.
- Experience with Lenel OnGuard; Certification is a plus.

Salary: USD 92700.00 - USD 139100.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
