What You'll be Doing:
You'll be overseeing operations regarding content acquisition and content currency, as well as entry of content into product. You'll also evaluate projects, set priorities and workflow to ensure deadlines are met, while overseeing a small team.
Each of the roles within the editorial content production team have five main areas of responsibility:
- Transform subject matter expert authored material into formats used by the WK OneSumX suite of software, specifically Policies and Procedures.
- Work with the development team to assist in the design and testing of product features, especially as concerns interaction with content.
- Work with customers on their content (P&P) or with internal resources on presentations or customer installations.
- Provide assistance to Support for customer issues they can't address.
- Provide content for product websites, such as homepage notices, customer communications, Help documentation (P&P).
Key Tasks:
- Use and promote strategic thinking
- Provide product expertise support to sales team about the products and through various stages of customer engagement
- Direct content production related projects such as P&P content conversions, changes to content offers
- Function as a product expert to create business requirements for product improvements; test product improvements and issues
- Ensure all work done on assigned product is completed according to design specifications and all content updates are of the highest quality
- Cultivate a culture that includes customer focused product innovations with speed to market. Drive innovation across Wolters Kluwer by engaging and educating staff and developing and implementing new services and customer solutions
- Direct development of business requirements and specifications for internal processes
- Provide time, effort and risk estimates for projects
- Coach, mentor and train other employees
- Have a business-level understanding of software architecture concepts and comfort with software development, including topics such as database architecture, XML based authoring, business rules, and application interfaces
- Have a general understanding of XML and HTML editing
- Create and interpret product design specifications
- Respond to product related inquiries from internal and external customers with priority and excellence
- Focus on continuous improvement and drive execution of product improvements
You're a Great Fit if You Have/Can:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job-related experience
- Ability to work from the Waltham, MA office on Third Ave. every Tuesday and Wednesday
- Understand and align work effort to business strategy to help achieve the business objectives and goals

- Provide quality work product, on-time (within project scope, schedule and budget) and without defects. Immediately report any impediments that put a deadline at risk
- Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with Wolters Kluwer departments
- Demonstrate an ability to manage administrative requirements, including timely submission of time sheets/billings, and adhere to CCOE deadlines

- Author customer communications (e.g., release notes, alerts, etc.)
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers
