The Business Insights and Solutions Analyst plays an integral role in shaping process improvement initiatives, compiling key reports, managing day-to-day operations within commercial operations, and delivering quality results in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. The ideal candidate has prior experience in data analytics, process improvement and/or project management with a demonstrated passion for the industry mission.
Responsibilities
- Compile daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports, as requested by business partners. Reports are typically extracted from ERP and CRM system and formatted in Excel, Access or PowerBI
- Assist with daily customer master data and membership tasks, including the cleansing, standardization, creation and maintenance of master data and membership rosters
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies to support the development of best-in-class solutions that solve complex business problems
- Contribute to the delivery of strategic process re-engineering projects that impact business improvement and customer satisfaction
- Participate in user acceptance testing from script writing through execution
- Assist with building and managing business intelligence tools that enable business partners to easily consume and act on insights
- Disseminate findings to small and large audiences and/or executives, in a clear, concise fashion, ensuring key business questions are adequately answered
- Help make business recommendations that impact a business’ strategic direction
- Support team to plan, implement, and manage initiatives or programs from inception to completion
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in data science and/or analytics is preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, wholesaler, or consulting industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Excel is required including ability to create pivots, charts and formulas
- Excellent slide development capabilities (PowerPoint)
- Proactive, strategic thinker who has an ability to anticipate needs

- Ability to learn quickly and execute with newfound understanding (e.g., industry, business models, products, technology)
