Job Title: Network Administrator
Job Location: Mission, Kansas
Job Summary: The Network Administrator will work alongside Customer Service teams and System Administrators on customer networks in support of ScriptPro’s pharmacy automation and pharmacy system products. Works to configure and remotely support network devices to company standards, including but not limited to Virtual and Physical Firewalls, Routers, Access Points and Switches. This position also works with onsite technicians and customers to troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.
Reporting Relationship: Reports to Manager, Systems Administration
Schedule: Generally, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.
Remote Work Requirements:
- Must have high-speed reliable internet access
- Must have a distraction free home office workspace
- Must be willing to participate in video virtual meetings (camera on)
Scope of the Role:
- Assist with the support of networks for new and existing customers
- Implement and Support various VPN connections with customers for remote access to customer systems
- Support multiple network configurations on customer systems
- Remotely Support approved network hardware for connectivity at customer premise
- Remotely Support Wireless (802.11) networks for customer systems
- Remotely Support remote access connectivity to/from customer systems
- Provide technical documentation to other customer service and training groups for procedure/training development
- Work with customers and customer IT to resolve network problems via ticketing and phone system
- Any other responsibilities assigned by management
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business technology or computer science discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Fiber, iSCSI, L3 switch administration, L4 router administration, and Firewall administration
- Knowledge of VM administration of vSphere or AHV
- Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts (VLANs, protocols, topologies, cabling) specifically in MS Windows OS environments
- Advanced level of knowledge using industry best practices for installing, deploying, documenting, and troubleshooting network technologies
- Solid understanding of CISCO iOS, CISCO Nexus, and similar platforms
- Ability to support flexible schedule in support of 24x7 customers

Additional Favorable Qualifications:
- CCNA preferred
- Knowledge of Information Technology in Health Care
- Knowledge of network security technologies and vulnerability assessments
- Knowledge of Business Continuity and DR practices
Working Conditions:
This position operates in an office environment. Routine use of standard office equipment is required. Must be able to use a computer for extended periods of time. Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, and expected to occasionally lift, stoop, bend, and reach. Ability to learn and solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions is required.
