We are looking for a Technical Service Representative to join our team and provide exceptional customer service. You can enjoy the satisfaction of using your mechanical / electrical skills to help analyze and troubleshoot the service requirements of our customers while working in a positive and encouraging office environment. Responsibilities:
- Teach - Explain installation, diagnostic and repair issues to our customers in a way that is easy to understand, over the phone or via email.
- Investigate and Solve - Discuss, resolve, and coordinate customer service activities with personnel from various departments within the company.
- Customer Relations – Build relationships with our customers and handle solutions with our customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Dynamic and Fast-paced – Demonstrate superior customer care by quickly responding to customer concerns/challenges.
- Build Partnerships – Work with an extended group of trained field service technicians professionals to coordinate equipment repair.
- Follow Through - Document and maintain warranty / repair records and ensure customer needs and expectations are met.
- This is a desk position with the opportunity to travel infrequently.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two to four degree (electrical / mechanical) or 3 years electrical service department experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work on multiple projects.
- Technical or Customer service experience troubleshooting various levels of mechanical or electrical challenges.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to speak clearly and accurately using proper phone etiquette.
- Ability to logically solve problems (mechanical / electrical).
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring.
- Ability to read mechanical and/or electrical schematics.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Exercises discretion and independent judgment.
- Proficient in MS Office products.
Full time position: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
