Pharmacy Technician: Hospital - inpatient
Location: Chicago, IL
Schedule: full-time; AMs; Monday - Fri. No weekends!
We are seeking a professional and skilled Pharmacy Technician, to help one of our hospital pharmacies in their inpatient sterile compounding area. This is for an AM shift.
The ideal inpatient Pharmacy Tech candidate, is required to have an active IL license, be certified, and know USP797 or USP800 compounding.
Qualifications:
- Have a valid IL Pharmacy Technician license, that is active and in good standing
- Be PTCB or ExCPT certified
- Have experience working within a hospital setting
- Have experience with sterile IV compounding (USP797 or USP800)
- HS Diploma or GED
Pharmacy Tech Responsibilities:
- IV compounding in accordance with USP797
- Using Epic to record compounding process
- Maintains a sterile clean room
- Helping pharmacy as needed
Compensation: depends on experience, skill set, availability and distance.
