The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing a seamless experience across all parts of the employee life cycle; working with internal teams and external parties to implement systems, processes, and programs to help people succeed. This position will primarily be responsible, but not limited to areas in employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, training, offboarding and terminations.
- Enhances the Employee Experience by engaging with employees and leaders at critical moments in the life cycle of the employment relationship such as Development, Accommodations, Workplace Threats, and Performance Management
- Promotes knowledge, understanding, and compliance with regard to employment basics, company policy and relevant employment laws through coaching, presentations, and training
- Conducts timely, objective, and thorough internal investigations including but not limited to allegations harassment, discrimination, accommodation, and retaliation and prepare all required documentation
- Functions as an employee advocate by proactively implementing and sustaining relevant business solutions, tools, and resources to support and positively shape the employee experience
- Recommends innovative approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed
- Supports strategic initiatives and projects within the HR department
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university and 2-3 years as an HR Generalist
- Computer skills preferred: Human Resource/Payroll Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior Knowledge of US employment laws, FMLA/ADA, EEOC, FLSA.
