The Technical Writer will be working with various stakeholders within the Macro Helix business unit to develop and maintain Pharmacy software user documentation, job aids, FAQs and the 340B Architect Online Help to meet the business objectives. Product documentation is intended for customer use and internal support staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Create / Edit / Maintain online help and user documentation for Pharmacy software (340B and Pharmacy Solutions as needed).
- Validate content and interview subject matter expert Product Managers/Owners to ensure product backlog items are translated to accurately reflect how users should navigate the system.
- Work with trainers and Business Analysts to validate user documentation and job aids for Pharmacy software.
- Create and refine technical information and other various materials for explaining products and services
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Suggest best practices and optimizations throughout content generation projects
- Collaborate with fellow technical communicators to develop new approaches for creating more precise and engaging knowledge base articles for the company
- Manage complex information and multiple projects within content specifications
- Use company brand voice and messaging for written pieces to reinforce the company culture
- QA content for errors
- Implement comprehensive technical documentation, feedback, and changes whenever possible
- Create technical documents that convey accurate messaging for projects
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and typical requires 2+ years of experience in technical writing or software documentation
Critical Skills
- Proficiency in word processor programs such as Microsoft Word and PDF software such as Adobe Acrobat
- Familiarity with systems development life cycle (SDLC)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Fluency in English
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Experience with digital media format

Our Base Pay Range for this position
$57,300 - $95,500
