JOB DESCRIPTION
A production material handler maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product This individual must be capable of maintaining an organized work space, be proficient in computerized inventory systems and RF Scanners, and able to accurately and neatly pack products. Heavy lifting up to 70lbs is required from time to time.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate inventory and clean, safe work area.
- Sort/Scan processed products.
- Picking and repackaging orders from inventory.
- Verify product counts and accuracy of inventory when staging.
- Assist Processing or other affiliated DC Departments when needed.
- Performs other related tasks including but not limited to performing housekeeping tasks required to keep the work area safe, clean and organized.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Maintains in-process inventory at Processors work stations by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
- Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units if needed.
- Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock.
- Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 or more years in a production environment
- Experience with RF Scanners
- Must be computer literate in MS Office software
- Must be able to sit or stand for up to eight or more hours per day, ability to move about, bends, stoops, uses hands and lift up to 70 pounds unassisted.
- Must be dependable, reliable, detail oriented and able to follow directions
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to function, with a positive attitude, in a high-performance work team environment
- Willingness to work extra hours and weekends when needed.
- Must have clean background and pass drug screen
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education approved by Human Resource
- Achieve and maintain productivity and error requirements
- Maintain an acceptable attendance and punctuality record

Salary Description
