Job Duties:
Support agricultural clients of Lincoln Savings Bank (LSB) as a trusted advisor bringing a full breadth of solutions to the specific needs of each client.
Develop commercial relationship prospects and manage a portfolio focusing on customer service while appropriately managing risk and credit quality.
Originates Ag loans in accordance with LSB’s internal policy and complies with applicable lending laws and regulations. Analyzes the credit history of applicants and determines their loan repayment capabilities.
Negotiates credit terms with customers, such as costs, loan repayment methods, and collateral specifications.
Approves or rejects loan applications within individual lending authority.
Develops a pipeline of quality Ag loans through professional interaction, consultation, and joint review of selected credits.
Completes business development and retention calls on potential new clients and on existing clients.
Grow a deposit portfolio related to the client relationships being managed, both business and personal.
Identify clients’ needs that can be met across the bank’s business units and deepen the relationship of the bank with the client.
- Treasury Management solutions that provide overall financial solutions and deliver efficiencies.
- Identify loan needs that may require a credit enhancement through a government guaranteed lending solution.
- Additional needs of the owners of commercial clients including mortgage, wealth management, insurance, and trust services.
Manage the on-going sales cycle to meet the objectives of our business customers and to meet and exceed sales goals and business objectives.
Sustains a loan portfolio of up to $25,000,000.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all LSB’s Ag loan product and services.
Documents calls and reports weekly call reports to supervisor. Utilizes the customer relationship management system to document and report on prospecting and retention activities.
Utilizes Salesforce Administrator to document and report on prospecting and retention activities.

Required Qualifications:
3 years of experience in Ag Lending
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
