Job Duties:
Works closely with Relationship Managers to analyze and structure loans, assists with the credit approval process, and closely monitors completed transactions. May also participate in client meetings and sales presentations.
Frequently communicates with commercial clients to confirm requests are received and responded to quickly and effectively. Ensures that the day-to-day needs of the commercial clients are met.
Participate as part of tax credit and commercial lending team to ensure that transactions flow smoothly from term sheet execution through payoff.
Coordinate and participate in transaction closing calls.
Provides construction draw support for Relationship Managers by collecting, compiling and reviewing all construction draw-related documentation from Borrower. Will assist Relationship Manager in evaluating and funding construction draw requests and monitoring overall construction budgets.
Monitors and manages existing loan portfolio to ensure conformity with loan terms and overall credit quality. Utilizes Borrower financial information and internal reports to recommend and implement corrective action when necessary to guarantee the stability of the loan portfolio.
Requests and evaluates, with support from Relationship Managers, all necessary information needed to consider new requests from existing and prospective commercial clients.
Prepares initial cash flow and collateral analysis for review by Relationship Managers, Credit Administration and Loan Committee to illustrate and validate optimum credit quality, profitability, and policy adherence. Works with the Underwriter to answer any questions and follow up on any additional items needed.
Build the initial underwriting framework and draft various narratives for credit approval requests with support from Relationship Manager.
Assists with the closing process by opening necessary checking accounts, collecting ownership forms, and working with the Loan Assistant to ensure full closing package is received and documented.
Perform ongoing diligence and review of tax equity deliverables to ensure all conditions are met to complete all tax equity fundings after close.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
1-year of experience in commercial credit/lending or a similar financial industry
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and adaptive to various software systems
