Overview
This position is a remote position and can reside anywhere on the East Coast.
The Strategic Account Executive has regional responsibility for the development, execution, and communication of the National Accounts strategic plan for assigned integrated delivery networks (IDN’s), Regional Purchasing Coalitions, and group purchasing organizations (GPO’s). The Strategic Account Executive will work to establish productive, professional relationships with key C-Suite level personnel in assigned accounts with the goal of expanding market penetration and profitable sales growth. These activities will coordinate with Contec Healthcare’s field team to ensure the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction for continued long term success.
Responsibilities
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Delivers agreed-upon growth in targeted IDN’s and contributes to the overall sales results of the broader organization. Identifies and evaluates new business opportunities and turns them into mutual business improvements (utilization & standardization).
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Continually monitors and collects sales data and develops action plans for sales strategy to create opportunities for the sales team, which contributes to the overall sales and market share growth at Contec.
- Actively lead, monitor and continually improve the overall sales process to ensure a successful productivity ramp to exceed revenue and commercial goals.
- Communicates regularly with all levels of the Contec Healthcare team to ensure all product knowledge, initiatives and trends are up-to-date.
- Engages professionals at all levels and across multiple departments regarding regulations and best practices for cleaning and disinfection of healthcare environments.
- Participates and works within ISO 9001 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec’s quality goals.

Qualifications/Requirements
A Bachelor's degree (BA. or BS.) from a four-year accredited college or university. A minimum of 5-7 years of successful sales team leadership is preferred. High levels of achievement in healthcare products is desired. Key account management experience is strongly preferred. Understanding of advanced sales techniques, business development processes, and a strong understanding of the acute care market is desired. Demonstrated knowledge of leadership, management, and sales development techniques.
