Responsibilities
- All aspects of printing press run including but not limited to orientation of flexographic plates, flexographic ink distribution, job setup, preparing printing presses for quality printing, and the press run
- Position entails all aspects of press run including preparation, set-up, production, troubleshooting, quality checks, and routine equipment management.
- Maintain production and quality standards as set forth by Department Manager.
- Organizes work flow for smooth operation.
- Makes necessary adjustments and monitors equipment so that product complies with work order. Other duties may be assigned.
- Notify management whenever equipment is found to be malfunctioning, damaged, or in need of repair.

Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules.
- Must be able to pass an eye exam to distinguish color tones
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and to request clarification when needed.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to speak effectively with co-workers, supervisors or others within the company.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Accurately read a tape measure
Essential Physical Requirements
- The employee continuously uses their arms, hands and fingers to handle, grasp, hold, grip and squeeze.
- The employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; manual dexterity is required with exposure to arm, wrist and back fatigue. Bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, sitting, carrying, standing in one place, reaching, pushing and pulling for general duties.
- The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- Occasional climbing/descending of stairs as well as pushing a broom to clean the production floor are required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.
