Overview
The Senior Implementation Manager will have ownership and accountability for assigned employers, strategic partnerships, and/or health plan/pharmacy benefit implementations. They will serve as the primary point of contact and project manager during the implementation and will be responsible for internal coordination with sales, account management, data operations, member engagement, product development, and executive management.
Successful Senior Implementation Managers ensure an exceptional initial experience for clients and partners during the onboarding process, particularly for strategic/complex clients. Ensures project deliverables are consistent with client service agreements. Ensures appropriate service levels are achieved, project timelines and deliverables meet client requirements, while resolving issues in timely to achieve client satisfaction. Builds client relationships by delivering a positive on-boarding experience, including clear rules of engagement, orientation to PBM processes & services, communication of client commitments & expectations to internal partners, and successful transition from implementation to maintenance of business. Adheres to strict procedural and quality standards, including thorough and accurate documentation, testing protocols, claims analysis, and thorough understanding of client technical & service specifications. Relies on experience, judgment, business & systems knowledge, and technical skill to plan and accomplish goals. Senior Implementation Managers should be active leaders in the organization, promote best practices, and actively contribute to the betterment of the team and organization. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Minimal to independent supervision.

Position Location
This is a remote-based position within the Continental US.
Responsibilities
Subject Matter Expertise:
- Responsible for implementing MaxorPlus best practices across various clients, including direct-to-employer, health plans, and partners.
Project Management:
- Develop, maintain, and manage the implementation project plan.
- Proactively manage issues, risks, and deliverables.
- Prioritize tasks to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
- Focus on claims adjudication accuracy.
Leadership and Automation:
- Act as a leader within the implementation team.
- Continuously seek ways to automate and improve the implementation process.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with cross-functional teams for successful implementation stages.
- Stages include discovery, solution configuration, testing, documentation, training, and product launch.
Effective Communication:
- Ensure well-documented and timely communication of requirements.
- Facilitate successful completion of tasks by internal resources.
Customer Retention:
- Provide accurate and thorough responses to customer inquiries.
- Leverage knowledge of MaxorPlus solutions and internal resources.
External Partnerships:
- Coordinate requirements with external partners (health plans, TPAs, brokers, consultants, and strategic partners).
Status Updates and Metrics:
- Provide status updates and reporting metrics to the management team as needed.
Complex Issue Resolution:
- Manage and resolve complex issues in a dynamic environment.
Client Education:
- Effectively educate clients on PBM systems and processes to ensure full orientation.
Claims Adjudication Accuracy:
- Partner with business units and teams to ensure accurate claims adjudication setups.
- Analyze claims results, identify discrepancies, and resolve configuration issues.
Operational Goals and Support:
- Maintain commitment to operational goals.
- Actively support core client team members.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to meet expectations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Promote adherence to quality principles.
- Participate in business initiatives for service excellence.
Compliance and Training:
- Comply with ethical and compliance policies.
- Remain free from exclusion under Medicare/Medicaid lists.

Qualifications
Education:
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent combination of work experience & education
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in the PBM, health care, or pharmacy industry
- 5+ years of new client implementation or large healthcare project management experience
- 5+ years of experience in a client-facing, consultative role including, scheduling and presenting on video calls
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proven Experience in Implementing Pharmacy Benefits:
