The Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation (CBWF) is a grass-roots, community based non-profit organization, with a long standing history of providing services to those in our community that are often disenfranchised, taking on causes to fill gaps in services that no other agency provides. Current services include primary health care, mental health and substance abuse programs, infectious disease testing, education and linkage to treatment, and youth education to provide information on the dangers of drug use.
Responsibilities
Maxor National Pharmacy Services-Pharmacy Technician-Full Time

Job Duties:
- Greet customers and take prescription orders
- Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
- Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
- Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
- Answer the phone
- Input customer information into the computer system
- Perform other job duties as needed
Qualifications
- Current PTCB Certification or the ability to obtain one within 6 monthsof employment (Maxor will assist)
- 2+ years retail pharmacy experience; experience in HIV/AIDS clinical setting preferred.
- Computer experience mandatory
- Proven track record of exemplary customer service
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish speaking skills preferred
- Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
